oak throughout with oval top and two drop leaves, ring and baluster turned legs on turned feet, British, probably 19th century, 27-1/4 x 9 (opens to 28-1/2 in.) x 22 in. Old surface with rich honey color, scattered wear and separations. Provenance: Metal tag on bottom "Estate of M.T. Walker"; by tradition, formerly on loan to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
