highly figured mahogany veneers, two-over-three dovetailed drawers with oak linings, light wood banded top, tall French feet, British, circa 1800, 41 x 40-1/2 x 20-1/2 in. Refinished, brasses replaced, some restorations to feet (underside of case painted), other minor patches and surface flaws, veneer patches and screw repairs to front edges of case, other scattered repairs. Provenance: The Estate of the Late Shirley Freeman, Greenville, South Carolina
