three pairs: King of Diamonds, 12-1/2 in.; Queen of Diamonds, 11-1/2 in.; Diamond Princess, 11 in., three pairs, all push-ups, made by James Clews & Sons, Birmingham, England. Old polished surfaces, excellent condition, minor scratches, one base slightly bent. Provenance: The Estate of the Late Shirley Freeman, Greenville, South Carolina The "Diamond" series began in 1897 to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee, produced until 1930s.
