set: 32 pieces, round with gilt interiors, some pieces with strap decoration, 16-point crown finials, engraved crown and interlocking "BB" monogram, marks for London, 1864, John Samuel Hunt, and marked "HUNT & ROSKELL/LATE/STORR&MORTIMER", French import marks, .925 fine, set includes pair oval and round entrιe dishes and platters, hot water kettle, teapot, locking sugar, tongs, creamer, toast rack, waste, condiment and ladle, four salts and spoons, butter knife, glass bowl with silver lid; all in fitted wooden case with brass plaque [A'mon tenant prefere/Baron Brolin/avec ma reconnaissance sincere/Eugenie" (Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III). Good condition, light scratches, point of one crown missing on one finial.
