comprising a settee, two armchairs and two side chairs, each with bronze mounted dense mahogany frames, settee and armchairs with eagle's head hand grips, suite upholstered overall in fine green silk upholstery with yellow and gold embroidered anthemion and scrolls, second half 19th century, settee 42 x 51 x 24 in., armchairs 39-1/2 x 25 x 22 in., side chairs 37-1/4 x 19-1/2 x 17-1/2 in., (five pieces). Old refinishing with scattered finish losses and wear, minor sun fading, settee with minor breaks and repairs at joint of arms and rear stiles, back of one side chair slightly loose, some stains, wear and fading to upholstery.
