ribbon and floral carved gilt wood crest, fluted arm supports and legs, pink and ivory silk upholstery, tag on bottom "Imported from Paris by R. J. Horner & Company, Furniture Makers…New York", French, late 19th century, 42-3/4 x 26-1/2 x 23 in. Label probably original but reattached to later upholstery scrim, frame in generally good condition with some paint retouch to gilt surfaces, minor losses to carved elements, one small molding loss to front skirt, minor fading and wear to upholstery, not examined under upholstery. Provenance: The Estate of the Late Thelma H. Osborne, Wilkesboro, North Carolina
