top set with finely carved and gilt floral and ribbon garland flanked by urns with rams heads, mirror plate flanked by leaf carved passages and applied composition garlands, probably French, late 19th/early 20th century, 56 x 38 x 5-1/2 in. Minor losses to mirror silvering, backboard replaced, scattered cracks and separations throughout especially to composition ornament, breaks and repairs to urn finials, other wear and scattered retouch to gilt surfaces.
