variegated gray to white marble top, bronze-mounted frieze drawer over three long drawers with figured mahogany veneers, dovetailed construction with oak linings, probably original gilt bronze mounts and pulls, turned legs, French, second half 19th century, 33-1/2 x 27-1/2 x 15-1/4 in. Possibly original marble top, old refinishing with scattered chips and repairs to veneers, some wear to gilding on mounts, other surface scratches and minor repairs. Provenance: The Estate of the Late Thelma H. Osborne, Wilkesboro, North Carolina
