similar decoration: one with phoenix and cloud border, [two small repaired rim chips], one with two peacocks and chrysanthemum border, birds on rocks and peonies, [4 in. glaze flaw in border], each with mountains verso, bases with embossed mark for Yamatoku (Mountain Virtue), three characters in red, early 20th century, 15-1/2 in. Both with scratches, some surface and gilt wear. Provenance: Private Collection, Lewisville, North Carolina
