or slipper chair with three-slat ladder back on elaborately turned legs and feet with H stretcher, British, probably 19th century, 38 x 16 x 18 in. Old mellow surface, now fitted with sprung seat, wear and abrasions to legs and stretchers, not examined under upholstery.
