hexagonal bombé form, hand painted floral decoration, interior with six fitted spice compartments (cinnamon, cloves, mace, allspice, nutmeg, ginger), central lift-out grater, possibly British, 19th century, 6-3/4 x 10-1/4 in. Original painted surface with scattered losses, light rust and minor dents, lacking key. Provenance: Private Collection, Florida
