French hardstone inlaid cabinet,

ebonized surface with elaborate brass inlay, figural ormolu mounts and four inset glass and [pietra dura] panels, central panel depicting vase of flowers and bird, later interior fabric linings, 19th century, 43-3/4 x 69-1/2 x 18 in. Mounts regilt, minor losses to inset panels, other scattered damage and losses to brass inlay, two holes at back of top (possibly lacking backsplash or mirror), feet possibly replaced. Provenance: The Estate of the Late Thelma H. Osborne, Wilkesboro, North Carolina
