footed desk stand with two inkwells with porcelain liners below pierced platform with scroll, shell and mask pediment, front panel dated "1875", third quarter 19th century, 12 x 17-1/2 x 13 in. Excellent condition, porcelain ink liners with minor stains and chips, retains virtually all of doré surface. Provenance: Private Collection, Knoxville, Tennessee
