lidded glass canister with paneled sides, base with Heisey mark, 9-1/2 in., in fitted octagonal figured mahogany case with hinged lid and brass inlay, probably late 19th/early 20th century. Small lid and interior rim chips, chip to one ray on bottom of canister, some losses and loose sections to brass inlay, possibly a marriage. Provenance: The Estate of the Late Shirley Freeman, Greenville, South Carolina
