"This drawing of the film version of Cabaret is one of my best known. It was also Liza's breakthrough role in the movies. I'd known her since she was a child, and even then she had tremendous energy. She was pretty awesome as Sally Bowles. And Joel Grey had tremendous appeal. His original stage performance made you think no one will ever be able to play it but him. Cabaret was one of those rare musicals that worked great on stage and on film." HOL/190.
