France, ca. 1875, pale pressed bisque unmarked socket head on bisque shoulder plate, stationary blue glass eyes, finely painted brows and lashes, closed mouth, pierced ears, original blonde mohair wig with cork pate, and articulated kid over wood fashion body with bisque lower arms and legs. Lot includes original two-piece cream light weight wool walking suit with blue silk and velvet trim and matching hat, blue velvet cape with ermine trim, French parasol, original leather shoes, and two contemporary dress forms. 17.5" H. Excellent (some minor wear to clothing, one missing shoe heel)
