"DKS" Special ASTP Patch

(5") A striking patch woven from metallic thread by the A-B Emblem Corp. specifically for Deke Slayton. The patch is identical to the normal crew patch except for the initials "DKS" in yellow in the outside field and the omission of "USA" from the Apollo capsule. This patch is still contained in its original cellophane wrapper with an A-B Emblem sticker on the reverse. An extremely rare patch. A similar patch realized over $1,000 in our May 2004 sale.
