second edition, number 22 of 33 copies signed by the artist, printed by Douglas Pepler and Eric Gill on 8 leaves of Japanese tissue (including final blank leaf), wood-engraved title-device and 6 illustrations by Gill, numbered and signed by Gill in pencil at foot of title, leaves browned, title and final blank with light foxing at edge, loose as issued, preserved in old wrapper, 4to, [Ditchling], [1916].

***Originally published in an edition of 15 copies, this edition was issued almost immediately after the first, both in February 1916. The wood-engravings are from Pepler's The Devil's Devices published by the Hampshire House Workshops the previous year..
