first edition in English, translated by William Caxton, 4ff. only (xxi, xxii, xxiii and xxviii), 40 lines plus headline, double column, black letter, the first 3 leaves with woodcut recto and verso, the last with woodcut on verso only, some early ink marginalia to upper margin identifying three of the Saints depicted in the woodcuts, wide margins, some finger soiling and light staining to margins but text block generally clean, loose, [Goff 213; Goff Cop. 2961; Duff 235; Oates 4120; Proctor 9697; STC 14507], small folio, [before August 21, 1495].
