first edition, second issue, black letter, title with woodcut arms and early ink ownership inscription, woodcut initials, title and A2 outer margins reapired, paper flaw causing hole to 2C6, with loss of a few letters, but no loss of sense, 2N5 similar flaw, with partial loss to 2 letters, 3A6 repaired tear to upper margin, a few small spots, 19th century speckled calf, gilt, upper joint weak, rubbed, a very good, wide-margined copy, [STC 19848], [John Daye], [1560].
