2 vol., containing the Old and New Testament unpaginated in double columns, binding designed and bound by Philip Smith signed on rear turn-in of each volume stamped in black with his device and in blind: "CONCEIVED O. 1956 DES.JU. 1957-JA. 1958 EX.SE. 1957-FE.1959", The Old Testament bound in full green levant morocco, The Apocrypha and The New Testament in full purple morocco, both volumes onlaid in different coloured leathers, tooled in gilt and blind with images depicting Biblicalemblems and signs of the Zodiac, lettered in gilt, g.e., original slip-cases, 4to, Oxford, at the University Press, [1950].
