Has been cleaned but not recently. Sustains very few minuscule chips throughout. No craquelure. Sustains very little evidence of inpainting touchups, lightly scattered throughout. In a giltwood frame. Label en verso reads, "National Gallery, Millbank. S.W.1." The label has a logo on the upper left side that reads, "From the National Scheme for Disabled Men." Handwriting on the bottom of the label, in ink, is illegible.
