GIACOMO CAVEDONE (1577-1660) THE DEPOSITION. Pen, brown ink and wash, lightly mounted at the corners on a piece of paper, stamped "PH" on the lower right corner. Unframed 6 5/8" x 4.25" *Condition: No tears or evidence of restoration. No foxing. Sustains a light evidence of exposure to water on the lower right corner, but most affecting the paper on which it is mounted, not the image itself as much. Provenance: Originally owned by P.H. Lankrink (1628-1692), and marked "Lugt # 2090" en verso. Sold in June of 1955 from the estate of George LeHunte of Oxford, Ireland. *Est.
