GIOVAN BATTISTA GAULLI BACICCIA (1639-1709) ANGELS IN CLOUDS. Pen, brown ink and wash, matted but unframed. Together with a 1 1/8" x 1.25" drawing of a bearded man's head, also by Gaulli, that was on the back of the paper originally, but since removed and now displayed on the same mat 5" x 7.5" *Condition: Upper left corner (about 1"x1.5") has been restored. Angel figures are not affected by teh tear. No foxing, creasing of water damage. Has not been laid down. Provenance: According to notes on the back of the mat: "English Collection till 1994; Germany 1994 (Bassenge.) Bears a gold label that reads "Waite Collection" on the back. *Est.
