Inscribed by Albert Bender, Chariman of the Book Club of California Publication Committee and with a typed letter from Bender laid in. With an original leaf from I Corinthians Chapter XVI & II Corinthians, Chapters I with 2 woodcut initials. The book printed in red and black with hand-illuminated initials. The leaves "are from an incomplete copy of the rare first edition of the King James Version, the famous "He" Bible of 1611. Set in double columns & printed from black-letter type, the folio pages are handsome examples of early Seventeenth Century printing...". GB 275.
