Elastolin, Lineol & similar- Wild West - Elastolin Burgen Range - Castles, comprising: large wooden castle [25 x 25 x 25.5 inches]. The "mountain" base is faced in painted tree bark & painted stone details, the four ascending ramps lead to four levels, the top level having a hinged lid to enable storage of the buildings. The buildings are constructed of wood & cardboard covered in paper printed to represent the brickwork, doors & windows etc. They consist of: 4 x turreted gatehouses, 2 x small living blocks, 1 x medium living block & 1 x large living block, there are also 11 x various wall sections. The hinged drawbridge is complete with raising chains but is detached, it is believed a small number of wall sections & pitched roof sections are missing. The castle at sometime has been rigged for lighting with a number of electrical components & wiring remaining, the windows have been embellished with netting & coloured paper to represent stained glass & leading. Some minor damages & old repairs overall otherwise Good.
