English oak bible box, with hand wrought iron lock on hinged lid, 17th C., with 1988 letter from Christie's, 10" high x 27 1/2" x 18 3/4", normal wear, lock was originally on the front of the box and was moved to the top, wood was replaced where the lock was orig.
