Description
BLOWN-MOLDED AND PRESSED STAND LAMP, whale oil/fluid period, colorless, large slightly compressed globular font molded with 12 lower flutes, unrecorded standard with interior prisms, square base, and four small button feet which were ground to level, wafer construction. Probably New England, possibly South Boston. 1830-1840. 7 7/8" h, 4 5/8" dia font overall, 3 1/4" sq base.
