CABLE WITH RING HAND LAMP, whale oil/fluid period, colorless, applied handle, #1 fine line collar, J. Sangster Patent 1862 chimneyless burner. Probably Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. Third quarter 19th century. 3 3/8" h to top of collar, 2 5/8" dia base.
Condition report
Lamp undamaged, handle is without cracks or checks, burner with some discoloration and deterioration from flame
