FREE-BLOWN AND CUT FONT PAIR OF STAND LAMPS, whale oil/fluid period, colorless, each conical font cut with a medial Strawberry Diamond and Fan band above lower panels, joined by a large bladed wafer to a globular hollow knop cut with a band of punties, joined by a smaller bladed wafer to a pressed triple-step base with concave corners and interior prisms, brass #1 collars. Probably Pittsburgh. Second quarter 19th century. 11 1/2" h, 3 7/8" sq base.
Condition report
One with normal chipping to lower base, other with a very light star crack just below font shoulder and two good-size chips to base corners
