ASHBURTON DECANTERS, LOT OF TWO, colorless, consisting of a quart example with applied neck ring and appropriate patterned stopper, which is slightly ill-fitting, and a one-third quart example with applied bar lip, each with polished pontil mark. Third quarter 19th century. 13 3/4" h overall and 8 3/4" h.
Condition report
Larger example undamaged except for some minute nicks to upper edge of stopper and very light interior base residue, smaller one with a 1/4" dia flake to the pattern, resulting from a pot stone
