EARLY THUMBPRINT OPEN COMPOTE, colorless, rim with 32 even scallops, double step hollow stem with 12 flutes, circular foot with 24 scallops, single band of 24 thumbprints under foot, wafer construction. Probably Bakewell, Pears & Co. Third quarter 19th century. 9 3/4" h, 11 1/8" dia rim, 6 7/8" dia foot.
