EARLY THUMBPRINT NAPPIE ON STAND, colorless, shallow bowl with 32 even scallops, double-step hollow stem with 12 flutes, circular foot with 24 scallops, single band of 24 thumbprints under foot, wafer construction. Probably Bakewell, Pears & Co. Third quarter 19th century. 4 1/2" h, 6 1/8" dia rim, 3 7/8" dia foot.
Provenance: From a Pittsburgh area collection.

Condition report

Undamaged except for a shallow chip under rim and under foot, and a minor flake to top of foot
