PATTERN-MOLDED SWIRL CHESTNUT FLASK, deep amber, flattened ovoid form with 24 ribs swirled left, medium neck with plain lip, nearly flat base with rough pontil mark. Probably Midwestern, possibly Zanesville, OH. Early 19th century. 5 1/8" h, 3 3/4" wide.
