Depicts an elderly woman in an orchard, landscape with building, measures 9-1/2" H x 12" W (Approx.), signed in LL, the drawing is mounted in an archival elaborate French style gilt on plaster on wood frame under glass with artist name plate. Also, includes a dated 1986 French Certificate of Authenticity by Katie Pissarro (Paul's Daughter); Title: "La Cueillette". Probably C. 1940's. Note: Paul-Emile Pissarro, Camille Pissarro's youngest son, was born in Eragny in 1884. He was brought up in the artistic environment of the family home there and encouraged by his father to begin drawing at an early age. Paul-Emile's godfather was Claude Monet who became his teacher and close friend, particularly after Camille's death in 1903.In 1905, Paul-Emile exhibited at the "Salon des Independants" for the first time, showing an impressionist landscape entitled Bords de l'Epte à Eragny.
