The firkin is signed: E. F. Lane & Son Marlboro Depot New Hampshire (stamped on lid), the firkin is of staved construction with a bent oak handle and all copper rivets throughout, overall height is 16-1/2" H, lid is 12" diameter.
Condition reportShows obvious wear from moderate use, some minor staining on one edge of the lid, original varnish appears intact on the exterior of the container itself.
