American Mandolin, Gibson Mandolin-Guitar Company, Kalamazoo, 1939, Style A-1, the headstock with GIBSON painted logo and stamped EG-4502 at the reverse, length of back 13 in., width of lower bout 11 1/8 in., with later case.
Condition report
Condition: later painted logo applied 14 1/2 in. scale length, tuners replaced, refretted, replacement pitt guard and bridge. Worked on by David Harvey at Gibson.
