American Guitar, C.F. Martin & Company, Nazareth, 1927, Model 00-28, stamped internally CF MARTIN & CO, NAZARETH PA on the center strip and at the back of the headstock, and 33083 at the upper block, length of back 19 1/2 in., width of lower bout 14 1/4 in., with original case.
Condition report
Condition: Replaced bridge (1/16" oversize) and pins, later pickguard, playing wear and capo wear to back of neck. Case fair condition. Hairline crack in lower bass side of top, approx. 7 in., crack in lower rib, (either side of end button), approx. 8 in. and 14 in. Finish original on sides and back, top may have light brush of shellac. Glue in sides of neck set, although neck has not been out.
