Pre-Columbian Polychrome Tripod Plate, Maya, c. 550-950 A.D., the interior with dignitary seated on a jaguar skin dais and wearing an elaborate headdress, the flared sides with five jawless head glyphs, dark orange and black against a pale orange ground, (some restoration), ht. 4, dia. 12 in.
