Unique Pair of Southern Northwest Coast Carved Wood Dolls, possibly Salish, 19th century, depicting two infants strapped into cradles, the stylized faces with painted black brows, with tip of tongues projecting from red-painted mouths, cradles with a single circular sunburst medallion and incised binding straps, traces of red and black pigments, ht. 14 in.
