***This work is based on a publicity still from the 1962 film The man who shot Liberty Valance. Due to a threat of legal action from the John Wayne Foundation, (because of Warhols infringement of the image rights) the Factory re-called many impressions. The prints were re-screened, particularly in the area of the the gun, and thus each print was made unique, thereby resolving the issue of illegally using Wayne's image..
