Renunciation.

Vintage photoetching. 1938. Printed 1938. 10 13/16 x 8 15/16 in. (275 x 227 mm). Excellent condition, save usual wear due to age. Photoetchings are similar to photogravures/relief etchings. Bird and his contemporaries used this technique as a medium for original expression, rather than as a method of reproduction.
