Harry Vroman (American, 1889 - 1983)

Vintage gelatin silver print. 1943. Printed 1943. Signed, titled and dated in pencil on the mat. Stamped, verso. 13 1/4 x 10 7/16 in. (337 x 265 mm). Harry Vroman was a distinguished landscape and portrait photographer of the American Southwest. His images of Native American subjects and the dunes at White Sands have left an indelible impression on generations of Americans.
