c. 70 photographs, some coloured, most commercially produced, also a Japanese painting by Countess Saigo, daughter of Marquis Saigo Tsugumichi (whose elder brother was the 'last true samurai', Saigo Takamori, 1894), most laid down, many faded in some degree, upper hinge broken, original half morocco, gilt, slightly rubbed, cloth soiled and stained, g.e., oblong 4to, 1895-96.
