19" x 24" custom framed political poster presented by the Toledo Blade newspaper. "Liberty" and "Union" to either side of his portrait, "Republican Candidate for Nineteenth President" below. Clearly the Blade was a Republican paper, as there was no evenhanded treatment; a Tilden version is unknown. The only "affordable" as well as very rare large campaign display piece for this candidate. Light water stain in lower right-hand corner area that does not detract from poster's brilliance.
