This is an impressive, original, large 25" x 18" James A. Garfield Campaign Broadside, printed in black on heavy paper, for the 1880 Presidential Campaign. The heading at top reads: "Post This Up - James A. Garfield's Escutcheon... READ IT!" The large broadside is tipped to a foam core board along the top edge. It has an outstanding appearance and design and other than a few small sealed edge tears, internal creases and four large tears repaired on the back with tape, this remains in excellent condition and displays very well.
