State of New Jersey. January 9, 1781. Three Shillings and Six Pence. Choice EF+ to About Uncirculated. A far above average example of this scarce, late New Jersey issue. Having three full margins, a bit tight at left on the face and complete whereas most notes of this issue are found trimmed well into the border designs. Printed in black ink with tan to dark brown ink signatures and serial number. Everything is clean and clear on this note, only a very faint fold which is visible only on the verso.
