Colonial Notes Printed by B. Franklin
Lovely 1764 Three Pence "Printed by B. FRANKLIN"
Province of Pennsylvania. June 18, 1764. Three Pence. Plate B. "Printed by B. FRANKLIN" Issue. Choice Crisp Uncirculated.
This is a sharp, crisp example of this smaller size pence denomination note. It would grade close to Gem but for a trivial natural internal paper crease seen only on the upper left reverse, which should not be confused with being a fold. It has four nice margins, dark printing and the vivid bold brown signature of "J Wharton" and a bold brown serial number that further enhances the very attractive eye appeal of this historic "Franklin" note.
