This is a very scarce sheet printed off the original plates for the Continental Congress Issued Currency of May 6, 1776 in Philadelphia. Denominations included on this sheet are: $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $6, $7 & $8. The very sharp, evenly trimmed margins are full and clear on all sides and just a hair close at the upper right. The notes are very faintly folded in between and appear Very Choice to Gem as individual notes. The paper is clean and even in color and the black printed text and designs are sharp and distinct. A very rare, attractive uncut Fourth Issue Continental Detector Sheet.
