Continental Congress. Lot of Two Notes. February 26, 1777. Both Thirty Dollars. One Counterfeit & One Original. Both Very Fine.
An interesting set with both being $30 notes, one a Contemporary Tory Counterfeit of this issue, the other its Genuine and original mate. The counterfeit has an "X" manuscript cancel across the seal and the genuine is choice, with a small corner clip at the lower left. (2 notes)
